WHERE I COME FROM
I was born and raised in Chattanooga, TN to a large family of 6 kids with me being the youngest. I was raised with a deep respect for my local community and a sense of justice.
A THRIVING CAREER
I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science: Public Policy and a minor in Africana Studies. I have done original academic research in labor studies, help build pro labor election platforms, been a community liaison between different activist groups, organized in political campaigns for progressive causes, lobbied representatives, and introduced original legislation to state legislature
I am also a staunch activist/advocate for workers’ rights. I work closely with local unions, participate in labor and civil rights protests, and actively build ties between the labor movement, and racial justice causes. Ths intersection between labor and social causes is particulary imporant to me. T
